ELLICOTT CITY - Howard County Executive Calvin Ball will attend a ribbon cutting on Wednesday for a new facility for Freshly, a health-conscious food delivery service. The new 171,000 square-foot facility will be located at Bollman Place in Savage and serve as the company’s East Coast location for food preparation, cooking, assembly, and distribution, Freshly has spent over $25 Million on this new facility and currently employ 350 workers, with the opportunity to hire as many as 700 in the future.
“This ribbon cutting will mark the beginning of a new chapter for Freshly and for our community. We look forward to increased access to fresh food, more job opportunities in Howard County, and a stronger local economy,” said Ball. “I also want to thank Howard County Economic Development Authority for working with Freshly the past few years to help us make this new facility a reality.”
