County to pledge support for goals of the Paris Climate Agreement

ELLICOTT CITY – In light of the devastating effects of climate change on communities including Historic Ellicott City, Howard County Executive Calvin Ball will make an important announcement about the County’s commitment to achieving the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. Ball will also announce that the County has received a grant designating it as a Maryland Smart Energy Community. The grant will be used to advance the County’s environmental sustainability initiatives.
