County Executive Ball’s 2nd FY20 Citizens’ Budget Hearing

Howard County Executive Calvin Ball will hold his second Citizens’ Budget Hearing for the FY 2020 budget cycle. Residents may submit testimony or sign-up to testify at the hearing by going to www.howardcountymd.gov/budgettestimony. Residents who do not wish to sign-up on line, will still be able to sign-up in person on the night of the hearing beginning at 6:00 p.m.

“Buzz” on Over to Howard County Library System’s Spelling Bee

Join Howard County Library System President & CEO Tonya Kennon to cheer on 66 of Howard County’s top spellers, 57 from public schools and nine from private schools, as they compete in the Library System’s 15th Annual Spelling Bee. Saketh Sundar, the winner of the last three HCLS Spelling Bees, is competing again this year. As an eighth grader, this is his final year to compete. The student who “out-spells” his or her opponents will represent Howard County as its Ambassador at the 2019 Scripps National Spelling Bee this spring.

Wilde Lake Water Main Project Public Meeting
