Join Robinson educators, Master Naturalists, and Maryland Biodiversity Project contributors for a day of community science and exploration! City Nature Challenge is an international community science effort to discover and document plants and wildlife across the globe. Drop in to go on guided hikes about topics including birding, forestry, macroinvertebrates, fungi, and more! Learn how to venture out on your own to record as many species as possible using your smartphone. Preregistration recommended to receive additional information prior to event. Hikes will meet on the Green Roof at Robinson, each hike will last about 30 minutes. Please come with appropriate footwear and download the iNaturalist app to your smartphone ahead of time.
