About
This class prepares individuals to assist in the management of crowds by assessing the occupancy prior to and during an event. Occupancies holding 50 or more persons for eating, entertainment, worship, meetings, or similar uses are classified as an “Assembly” and are required to have a minimum of one (1) trained “Crowd Manager.” Where the occupancy load exceeds 250 people, one (1) trained “Crowd Manager” for every 250 people is required. This seminar will provide valuable education in the area of fire and life safety and maintaining a safe environment in case of an emergency requiring the evacuation of a building.
Course Objective
This course is designed to prepare individuals to assist in maintaining a fire-safe environment in assembly occupancies. It will provide valuable education in the areas of fire safety and emergency building evacuation. Upon completion of this program, participants will have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to create a safe environment for occupants to gather in and promote organizational safety as a part of the corporate culture. Classes are limited to 26 people.
