Visit Howard County is a not-for-profit organization recognized by Howard County Government and the Maryland Office of Tourism Development as the official Destination Marketing Organization for Howard County. Visit Howard County’s mission is to be the lead organization to market and develop the County as a premier leisure and business travel destination. Sponsored by Visit Howard County, Winter Restaurant and Craft Beverage Weeks provides the community with the opportunity to savor extraordinary dining experiences, showcasing the rich tapestry of restaurants that call this community home.

“We hope residents and visitors alike will immerse themselves in diverse flavors, exceptional dining options, and a community-building spirit that promises lasting memories and a newfound appreciation for Howard County's thriving restaurant scene,” added Amanda Hof, Executive Director for Visit Howard County.

"Howard County Restaurant & Craft Beverages Weeks is the perfect chance to explore some of the best restaurants in the region while giving a real boost to our local economy," said Jennifer Jones, CEO of the Howard County Economic Development Authority. "By dining out and trying new spots, you're not just treating yourself—you’re helping support the small businesses that make our community such a vibrant food destination. Grab your friends and make plans to explore the incredible flavors Howard County has to offer!"

This time of year brings us together to enjoy the exceptional talent of our chefs, brewers, and artisans, offering residents and visitors an opportunity to explore unique dining and beverage experiences,” added Kristi Simon, President & CEO of the Howard County Chamber. By participating, you also support the local economy and the passionate entrepreneurs who make Howard County a top destination for food and craft beverages.

“The dining public loves restaurant weeks for their great deals and the opportunity to try something new,” added Marshall Weston Jr., President & CEO Restaurant Association of Maryland. “But we can’t forget how important the employees who work in the restaurant industry are to the overall economy and our communities. 90% of restaurants are small businesses who employ fewer than 50 people – it makes sense to celebrate and support them.”

“As a locally owned, family-run, small business, we have participated in Howard County’s Restaurant Weeks since we opened in 2016, the success of this campaign helps restaurants to thrive while introducing new cuisine to all who love to eat!” said Tricia Hudson, Co-Owner of Hudson Coastal Raw Bar & Grille and Board Chair of Visit Howard County. "This is an opportunity to sample culinary dishes from our county’s small businesses that are the backbone of our economy. Food enthusiasts can discover local gems from downtown Columbia to the smaller tucked in spaces like Highland, Maple Lawn & Glenwood. With the new year underway, you can discover restaurants with menus of healthy options to help you stick to your resolutions and to prepare for the warmer months ahead.”

"As a restaurant entering the end of our first year, we are excited to continue to get the word out about everything that we are working on, and Howard County's Restaurant Weeks are a great way to do that." said Brian Gaylor, Founder of Black Flag Social House in Marriottsville/Turf Valley. "Our kitchen team, led by Chef Jonathan Hicks, comes with a wide range of experience from all over the state prior to finding us as a home. They love an excuse to push the boundaries and lend their experience to new specials. The community has really embraced this across the board - showing up to our monthly private chef's dinners and also filling the seats when we run weekly specials or participate in the Howard County Restaurant Weeks. We welcome everyone to come try our 20 house-made beers on tap and also see that our kitchen is truly elevating what you can expect from a brewpub!"
