ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County’s Department of Public Works (DPW) will hold a virtual public meeting on Tuesday, May 4th starting at 7:00 p.m., to discuss the planned construction of an elevated water storage tank in Jessup.
DPW plans to build a new 2.5-million-gallon elevated water storage tank near 8490 Washington Boulevard. Additionally, a 2,000-foot access roadway (Ridgelys Run Road) and related utilities will also be installed at the site. Construction is expected to begin in June 2021.
The informal meeting will include an overview of the design followed by an open discussion. County staff and the project’s design consultant will be on hand to answer any questions and gather public comments.
