ELLICOTT CITY, MD – A Howard County stormwater management construction project at the County’s Bureau of Highways Mayfield facility located at 7551 Mayfield Avenue in Elkridge, is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, May 9th. The project will include the installation of new storm drains, curb and gutter, the outfalls will be stabilized, and the pavement repaved. A series of water quality features known as Stormceptors will also be installed to provide treatment of surface water runoff from the Mayfield facility. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by early September 2022.
