ELLICOTT CITY, MD – A Howard County construction project to install a 30,000-gallon fire suppression tank adjacent to the 14000 block of Burntwoods Road in Glenelg, has begun. The tank is not covered by the County’s water distribution system and will include a 60-foot-long by 30-foot-wide by 15-foot-high construction trench excavation to place the tank underground. A concrete pad will be installed on top of the tank. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by late July 2023.

While the project is not expected to impact the flow of traffic in the area, signs will be posted near the project site to advise motorists and pedestrians of the construction.
