ELLLICOTT CITY, MD – A Howard County project to reconstruct the riser and outfall structure of the three ponds located near 7125, 7145, and 7195 Troy Hill Drive in Elkridge, has begun. The project also includes the installation of a water sensor at each pond to provide real-time monitoring of the pond’s water level. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by mid-December 2024.

While the project is not expected to impact the flow of traffic in the area, signs will be posted near the intersection of Troy Hill Drive and US 1 to advise motorists of the construction, which will take place Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This project is funded by the County’s Office of Community Sustainability and supports the County’s water quality improvement and restoration efforts under its National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System Permit.
