“The history of Howard County, and our nation, is inextricable from the contributions of our Hispanic and Latino communities. During this Hispanic Heritage Month, we celebrate their remarkable stories, cultures and service to our country,” said Howard County Executive Calvin Ball. “At our celebration event, and throughout the month, let us come together to honor the cultures of our Hispanic and Latino residents and renew the bonds of our common humanity.”
“Fostering appreciation for our neighbors’ cultural differences and contributions is key to every resident enjoying a quality of life, free from discrimination,” said Howard County Office of Human Rights Administrator Yolanda F.
