Part 2: What happens after you report financial fraud?

Join the Howard County Department of Community Resources and Services for a three-part community education series to learn more about World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD, on June 15) and Maryland's PROTECT Week (June 7 - 13). 

In Part 2 of the series, Tracy Rezvani, administrator of the Howard County Office of Consumer Protection joins representatives from the Howard County States' Attorney’s Office and the Howard County Police Department to discuss the life of a financial fraud or scam report from intake and initial investigation through charges and prosecution. WEAAD serves as a call-to-action for individuals, organizations, and communities to raise awareness about elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation. PROTECT Week is a statewide awareness and public education campaign focused on protecting older adults from financial exploitation.
