Howard County Department of Public Works’ (DPW) Stormwater Management Division will hold a community outreach meeting on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., at Savage Branch Library in the Albert Einstein Room to discuss the Forest Stormwater Pond Repair project.
The proposed project is located near 10404 Stansfield Road in Laurel and will include the replacement of the old metal outlet structure with a new concrete outlet structure that has a longer service life span. The project will also bring the pond into compliance with current Maryland Department of the Environment requirements.
The informal meeting will include an overview of the existing design followed by an open discussion. County staff and the project’s design consultant will be on hand to answer any questions and gather public comments.
This project is funded through the County’s Watershed Protection and Restoration Fund.
