ELLICOTT CITY, MD – County Executive Calvin Ball will be visiting the Department of Community Resources and Services school supply giveaway on Saturday, September 5 at 10:00 a.m. at East Columbia Branch Library. Additional locations for the giveaway are occurring at North Laurel Community Center, 9411 Whiskey Bottom Road, Laurel and Howard Crossing Apartment Homes, 8732 Town and Country Blvd, Ellicott City.
“The beginning of this school year is going to look much different than in the past, but we still have the opportunity to provide a great learning environment for them, and that starts with having the right supplies,” said Ball. “I’m very grateful to our Department of Community Resources and Services for coordinating this program and ensuring that Howard County’s children have what they need to be ready and successful students.”
