ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Executive Calvin Ball hosted a kick-off of Howard County Restaurant Weeks & Craft Beverages at Aida Bistro on January 21. Restaurant Weeks, in partnership with Visit Howard County, will run from January 20 – February 2, 2020. There are nearly 40 restaurants, craft breweries, and distilleries participating with special fixed-price menus. Photos of the event can be found here. Video of the event can be found here.

"Howard County Restaurant Weeks are the perfect time to step out of your comfort zone and try some of the incredible restaurants, breweries and distilleries across Howard County," said Howard County Executive Calvin Ball. "There are more than 16,500 people working in the hospitality industry in our County, and it's an integral part of our growing economy. I encourage residents and visitors to take the time to try something new or visit an old favorite, with more than 30 establishments participating, there is something for everyone."

The kick-off event was hosted at Aida Bistro with owner Joe Barbera, who helped initiate the first Howard County Restaurant Week in 2008, Council Member Opel Jones of District 2, and Amanda Hof, Executive Director of Visit Howard County.
