ELLICOTT CITY, MD – County Executive Calvin Ball will announce the Official Pollinator Plant of Howard County Bee City USA on Monday, June 29th at 9:30 a.m. The event, hosted at Howard County Conservancy, will also include Conservancy summer youth campers and staff.
“Howard County became a Bee City in September 2019, and we made a commitment to sustaining pollinators in our County on public and private property,” said Ball. “Pollinators are so critical to our way of life, and we’re thrilled so many members of our community voted on the official pollinator plant. Together we can ensure that Howard County continues to have a clean and sustainable environment for many generations to come.”
