ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Executive Calvin Ball will host a ribbon cutting to open the new Howard House on May 2nd at 11:30 AM. The new Howard House will be a 16-bed treatment facility for substance use disorders, including opioid addiction.
Clients will receive step-down care, including peer support, case management services, therapeutic behavioral health sessions, skill building and other outpatient treatment and supportive care. The Howard County government funded the remodeled new Howard House on Route 108, a location that is owned by the Department of Recreation and Parks.
Parking is limited, so media are asked to park at 9944 Maryland Route 108. All other attendees are asked to park at Centennial Park Main-South (10000 Maryland Route 108) and take the complimentary shuttle to Howard House.
