Communities across the country recognize the Winter Solstice — the first day of winter, the longest night of the year — to remember those who have died while homeless, or those who had a history of homelessness. The Howard County Coalition to End Homelessness will host a gathering to honor those lives lost in 2024 on Thursday, December 19 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Oakland Mills Interfaith Center in Columbia.
Please register to attend. Light refreshments to follow the program. Wear masks at your discretion. For those who cannot attend in person, this event will also be live streamed on DHCD's Facebook page.
