What: Howard County Police Pace 5K, 10K and One Miler
When: Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, 9:00 a.m.
Where: Centennial Park, Route 108, Columbia
The Howard County Police Foundation will host its 31st annual Police Pace fundraiser on Sept. 11 at Centennial Park with proceeds to benefit a number of Howard County Police initiatives.
The Police Foundation works with police and the community to help develop and support initiatives to benefit community programs and improve safety. The Foundation also supports officers and their families during times of injury or illness.
Police Pace is a family-friendly event that will include displays of the county’s police equipment, patrol cars, youth outreach officers, K-9s, and more.
Registration will be available onsite the day of the race beginning at 7:30 a.m. The race begins at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude with several police department awards, followed by age-group awards in the 5K and 10K.
Food for all registered participants will be provided courtesy of Mission BBQ, the race’s official hospitality host.
