UPDATE: Police identify the deceased victim as Dylan Migel Perez, 24, of Baltimore.

Howard County police are investigating a fatal shooting in Columbia in which one person was killed and two additional people were seriously injured. Police are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information.

At approximately 9:55 p.m. on Oct. 16, officers responded to the 6000 block of Foreland Garth after hearing gunshots and located an adult male victim with a gunshot wound outside the Exxon gas station. The victim was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and is currently listed as critical but stable.

At approximately 10:13 p.m., two adult males arrived at Howard County General Hospital’s Emergency Room where one was pronounced dead. The second is currently listed as critical but stable. Detectives believe they drove themselves from the Exxon.

Preliminarily, police believe the shooting was not random. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 410-313-STOP or HCPDCrimeTips@howardcountymd.gov.
