ORIGINAL RELEASE
Howard County police are investigating a collision in Laurel in which a pedestrian was struck and killed.
At approximately 9:47 a.m. on Oct. 13, a 2016 Ford Econoline box truck was backing up in a private lot in the 10100 block of Washington Boulevard when it struck an adult male victim. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the box truck remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
