ORIGINAL RELEASE:
Howard County police are investigating a fatal collision on June 20 in Woodstock in which a pedestrian was struck and killed.
At approximately 8:43 a.m., a 2017 Toyota Corolla was traveling north in the 10500 block of Dorchester Way when it struck an adult male victim who was standing next to a parked landscaping vehicle. The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the striking vehicle remained on scene. The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
