Howard County police are investigating a serious collision involving a motorcyclist in Clarksville.
At approximately 7 a.m. on Thursday, a 2017 Toyota Highlander was making a left turn from Route 108 westbound onto Great Star Drive when it collided with a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling eastbound on Route 108.
The motorcyclist, 17-year-old Ramsey Maghari of Clarksville, was transported by helicopter to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he is listed in critical condition.
The driver of the Highlander, 52-year-old Frances Bird-Palmer of Clarksville, was uninjured and remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. Route 108 in the area of Great Star Drive was partially closed for approximately two hours.
