Howard County police are investigating a shooting between two roommates on Tuesday night in Columbia. The suspect was taken into custody at the scene.
Police were called to the 8400 block of Oak Bush Terrace at 7:45 p.m. for a report that an adult male shot his roommate, also an adult male. Police took the suspect into custody at the scene and the victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating the motive. More information will be provided when it is available to release.
