UPDATE: Missing person Eugene Daly returned home unharmed.
Howard County police are asking for the public's help to locate a missing elderly man from Columbia.
Eugene Daly, 85, was last seen leaving his residence in the 5400 block of Smooth Meadow Way in his blue 2016 Subaru Legacy with Maryland registration 3DZ4314 around 1 p.m. today, Oct. 18. Family contacted police when he did not arrive at his planned destination in Catonsville or return home.
Police are concerned for his wellbeing due to age-related health concerns. At this time police believe he may have traveled as far as Elkton.
Daly is described as a white male with brown hair and blue eyes, five feet ten inches tall and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white sweater, khaki pants and a grey jacket.
Anyone who sees Daly or his vehicle should call 911.
