Howard County police are offering a reward up to $5,000 for information about a fatal shooting that occurred overnight in Columbia. 

Police were called to the intersection of Governor Warfield Parkway and Twin Rivers Road at approximately 12:15 a.m. for a report of a fight among multiple people with shots fired. Responding officers located Anthony Tayvon McNeil, 24, from Baltimore, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a parking lot in the 10200 block of Nightmist Court, adjacent to the initial scene. 

McNeil was transported to Howard County General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

Detectives are continuing to investigate a possible motive in the incident. 

Police are asking anyone who may have seen or heard something in the area, or may have any other information about the incident, to call 410-313-STOP or email HCPDcrimetips@howardcountymd.gov. Callers may be eligible for a reward up to $5,000. 

Detectives are also asking residents in the area with doorbell cameras to check their videos between 11 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. for any activity that may be related to this case.

The investigation is ongoing.
