ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County’s Department of Public Works (DPW) will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, November 20 at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria of Patuxent Valley Middle School, 9151 Vollmerhausen Road in Jessup, to discuss the planned construction of a nearby elevated water storage tank.
DPW plans to build a new 2.5-million-gallon elevated water storage tank near 8490 Washington Boulevard in Jessup. An access roadway and related utilities will also be installed at the site. Construction is expected to begin in fall 2021.
The meeting will include a presentation followed by an open discussion. County staff and the project’s design consultant, RK&K, will be on hand to answer any questions and gather public comments.
