Learn about Olive Wetzel Dennis, who was one of the first female civil engineers to work for the B&O Railroad in the 1920s. Assigned to identify and remedy passenger service problems, Dennis worked to improve service for all passengers. Recognized in 1940 as one of the top 100 career women, she was hailed by the press as the woman who “took the pain out of the train.” Rain date: Mar 25 at 2pm.
