The center opens early for these events designed for families with kids, teens, and adults with sensory processing differences, autism spectrum disorder, or developmental disabilities. Enjoy activities led by Howard County Park Rangers, Heritage staff and Robinson Nature Center educators. Families can also explore the exhibits (lights/sounds adjusted), Discovery Room, nature trails, outdoor NaturePlace and a themed-sensory pathway. Planetarium open between 11am and noon. Open Planetarium* (G): From 11am-noon, join Robinson Nature Center staff in the indoor planetarium. Headphones, bean bags and fidgets available. Movies are ongoing. Feel free to come and go as needed.
*Face masks are required for all participants over the age of 3 years when inside the Nature Center building.
