The Board is comprised of nine members and each member shall be experienced or interested in or a user of at least one of the following:

  • Public transit, including fixed-route or paratransit;
  • Bicycle transportation;
  • Pedestrian transportation.
  • Road networks that promote all modes of transportation; or
  • Transportation demand management.

To be eligible for consideration, candidates must be a Howard County resident, qualify under one of the categories listed above and be able to attend the Board meetings, which are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Board meetings are currently being held virtually via WebEx; however, meetings may transition back to in-person in the near future.

Applicants should send a resume and brief letter explaining why they want to serve on the Board to Kimberly Pruim, either by email to kpruim@howardcountymd.gov or by mail to: Howard County Government, Office of the County Executive, Attn: Kimberly Pruim, 3430 Court House Drive, Ellicott City, MD 21043.
