ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Executive Calvin Ball is seeking applicants interested in serving on the Commission on Aging. Comprised of 15 members, the Commission strives to promote successful aging for older adults in Howard County.

As Howard County works towards being a truly age-friendly community we've already made progress to make our community more walkable, provide better options to connect and engage with one another, and support more accessible housing – for people of all ages. In the past four years, we've broken ground on the East Columbia 50+ Center, advanced our Age-Friendly Action Plan, and renovated the Bain 50+ Center to accommodate more of our older residents. I encourage anyone interested to apply for this critical position to help make Howard County the best place in the nation to live, work, play, and grow for all.
