ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County’s Office of Workforce Development announced new phone numbers today based on an upgrade to the county phone system. Clients and businesses looking for employment resources can now reach the County office by phone at 410-313-1060 or by fax at 410-313-1070. The office location in Columbia Gateway remains the same.
Despite this public transition to new phone numbers, the Office of Workforce Development will be much better supported and accessible being upgraded within the existing county phone system. Our intent is for this to be as seamless as possible so that our mission to provide employment assistance remains strong.
More than a dozen staff members will also change phone numbers. To eliminate any disruptions to service, the current extensions will remain active for 90 days and provide a recorded message with the updated contact info.
The office provides resources and services to assist those returning to the workforce, people seeking a high school diploma, professionals looking for a career change and workers who have been laid off.
