UPDATE: Police also charged Zeah with attempted first-degree murder in a Feb. 14 non-contact shooting in the 10200 block of Twin Rivers Road in Columbia. Zeah is alleged to have fired several shots but nobody was struck in that incident.

Howard County police have arrested an 18-year-old from Columbia and charged him with murder in the Feb. 22 double shooting in Columbia.
Emmetson Zeah was arrested overnight and is charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and related charges. He is being held without bail at the Howard County Detention Center.
At approximately 5:52 p.m., police responded to the parking lot and bus loop area outside of Lidl in the 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway for a report of shots fired and located two victims with gunshot wounds. Michael Robertson, 16, of Columbia, was pronounced dead at the scene. Blake McCray, 15, of Columbia, was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and remains in critical condition.
Through investigation, detectives believe that Zeah targeted the two victims, but the motive remains unclear. Police recovered a gun and the clothing Zeah wore during the shooting at his residence.
