ELLICOTT CITY, MD – A Howard County construction project to repair the curb and sidewalk between 3756 and 3732 Old Columbia Pike in Ellicott City, is expected to begin or about Monday, April 28th. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by early May.
Signs will be posted to alert pedestrians and motorists of the work and flagging operations will be in place as temporary lane closures can be expected in the project area during construction hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Additionally, the sidewalk in the project area will also be closed during these hours.
While the County and its transportation partners work hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones, drivers are reminded to stay alert and look for reduced speed limits, narrow driving lanes and highway workers. Please slow down and don’t follow too closely when traveling through a work zone. Remember, work zone safety is in your hands.
