Woodleigh Drive Water Main Extension Project to Begin
A Howard County construction project to extend a water main along Woodleigh Drive in Columbia, is expected to begin on or about Monday, October 18th. Temporary lane shifts can be expected during the projects construction hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by early November 2021.

Vital Stream Restoration Project in Ellicott City Underway
Howard County has begun restoration of approximately 1,100 linear feet of a stream near 3713 Fels Lane in Ellicott City. The unnamed tributary of the Hudson Branch to the Patapsco River, has been heavily impacted by stormwater and has eroded significantly as a result. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by mid-January 2022.
