Howard County Department of Public Works to Host Public Meeting on Patapsco Park Estates Pond Repair
Howard County Department of Public Works’ Stormwater Management Division will hold a public meeting on Thursday, August 10th to present plans to repair an existing pond located near 2041 Eliza Dorsey Lane in Ellicott City. The project will include replacement of the old metal outlet structure with a new concrete outlet structure that has a longer service life and will bring the pond into compliance with current Maryland Department of the Environment requirements. Weather permitting, the project is expected to begin in fall 2023 and be completed by spring 2024.

A Howard County construction project to replace the principal spillway of an existing storm water pond next to 8250 Preston Court in Jessup, is expected to begin on or around Monday, March 13th. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by late June 2023.
