A Howard County construction project to replace the existing 12-inch waterline across the Patapsco River near the 5900 block of River Road in Elkridge, is expected to begin on or about Monday, October 21st. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by early January 2025.

The County's Department of Public Works will hold a community outreach meeting on Tuesday, October 29th, to present traffic calming plans for Furnace Avenue and Hanover Road. The project will implement strategies available in the County’s recently updated Howard County Neighborhood Traffic Calming Policy, to combat excessive vehicular speeds along these two roadways.

A Howard County project to reconstruct the riser and outfall structure of the three ponds located near 7125, 7145, and 7195 Troy Hill Drive in Elkridge, has begun. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by mid-December 2024.
