In recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, Howard County Executive Calvin Ball recently joined the Howard County Commission on Disabilities to celebrate the winners of the Commission’s 2024 Employment Awards.

This $75,000 state-funded initiative aims to revitalize commercial corridors by enhancing the physical appearance of properties.

So crews can safely return the cupola and bell to the top of the Department of Recreation & Parks’ Firehouse Museum, located at 3829 Church Road in Ellicott City, Church Road between Emory Street and Main Street will be closed in both directions between the hours of 12:00 to 4:00 a.m., Friday, October 18th. Main Street between Old Columbia Pike and Court Avenue will also be closed for brief periods during this time to allow for crane operations, and parking will be restricted in the area.

Collected pumpkins are composted at the Alpha Ridge Landfill Composting Facility.

There is currently no indication there are additional victims, however police encourage anyone who has information otherwise to come forward.
